DEAR LAURA is a Bram Stoker Award nominated psychological thriller about obsession and retribution.

Every year, on her birthday, Laura gets a letter from a stranger. That stranger claims to know the whereabouts of her missing friend Bobby, but there’s a catch: he’ll only tell her what he knows in exchange for something…personal. So begins Laura’s sordid relationship with her new penpal, built on a foundation of quid pro quo.

“It’s suspenseful, scary, some parts are brutal…it gets even scarier after you read it and start thinking about it.” Kallie, for the Night Worms

“Dear Laura had me breathless, compelled, and clammy from start to finish.” Aiden Merchant

My darkest collection yet: available NOW on Amazon as paperback or eBook.

white pines, a paranormal mystery from Gemma AmorTwenty years ago, the town of White Pines vanished, taking all 1,346 inhabitants with it.

This novel and audio book will be self-published by me this autumn, thanks to a successful Kickstarter Campaign. It deals with the nightmarish mystery that surrounds the place where White Pines once stood. What about about the 1,346 people who lived there? What about the family and friends left behind? Why does no-one talk about White Pines? Journalist Megan Douglas is on a grim mission to find answers to questions the world has stopped asking.

White Pines will be available to Kickstarter supporters this autumn as a novel, e-book and audio-book (narrated by me). It will go on general release once all my backers have received their copies.

Horror fiction author with a paranormal twist

I specialise in the dark and mysterious, with a particular penchant for the paranormal, the parallel, and the phantasmagorical. Which is a fancy way of saying I like to write scary stories about things that go ‘bump’ in the night.

Why? Well, that’s easy. Life can be dreary and colourless sometimes. I like to plumb the depths of my imagination, create worlds in which a person could get truly lost, worlds inhabited by monsters, mayhem and madness.
