I’m a horror fiction author from the UK

Welcome! I'm a UK based horror fiction author. I write horror, sci-fi, and speculative fiction, audio drama scripts and paranormal mysteries. My stories have been produced by the NoSleep podcast, the Grey Rooms podcast, and Shadows at the Door. You can find me in a number of horror anthologies, too.

New book Cruel Works of Nature is out NOW!

Cruel Works of Nature by Gemma Amor book cover

Cruel Works of Nature is a hand-illustrated collection of horror stories that deals with the natural world, but not as we know it. Monsters, anomalies, critters, crawlers, and much, much more…Mother Nature has more than one face, but you might not like this one.

Reviews on Amazon and Goodreads so far have been glowing:

"I couldn't put the book down, and let's just say there was more than one sleepless night!" April H

"Super fun read. A must for any horror fan. It really reminded me of classic stuff like Tales From the Crypt and Twilight Zone." Sourpuss

"This is one grisly must read horror... I strongly recommend NOT reading this before bedtime, but only in the daylight." Dorn W. Stickle

The book features my own illustrations, several stories that have been produced by the NoSleep podcast, and three novellas written exclusively for this anthology.

The book is brought to you by Haunted House Publishing and is available in Kindle and Paperback.

The Trees Have Eyes Horror Anthology

If someone screams in the forest and no one is around, will they regret ever making a sound?

The Trees Have Eyes  is a horror anthology from Haunted House Publishing and the NoSleep Author Alliance.

This collection from the forest features my story The Little Man, which was produced by the NoSleep podcast in Season 10.

The Monster Book of Monsters is a huge horror anthology box set from Haunted House Publishing and the NoSleep Author Alliance.

This collection features my story ‘Special Delivery,’ about a mysterious parcel and its contents. Proceeds of book sales go to fundraising for a series of short horror films based on the stories within.

Horror fiction author with a paranormal twist

I specialise in the dark and mysterious, with a particular penchant for the paranormal, the parallel, and the phantasmagorical. Which is a fancy way of saying I like to write scary stories about things that go ‘bump’ in the night.

Why? Well, that’s easy. Life can be dreary and colourless sometimes. I like to plumb the depths of my imagination, create worlds in which a person could get truly lost, worlds inhabited by monsters, mayhem and madness.
